#08 Sabbatical Company "POTLUCK" party


食べ物と話のネタを持ち寄る POTLUCK Party。
2019年サバカンの杉浦と渡辺が海外から帰国した後に
第1回目ののPOTLUCK Partyが開催された。
サバカンが用意したものは、杉浦のリトアニアの話と渡辺のアメリカの話、
そして鯖缶と美味しい食べ物。
ゲストたちも様々な美味しい食べ物と持ち寄りPOTLUCK Partyに集まってくれた。 
サバカンが集まる場にはいつも美味しい食べ物がそばにあり、
美味しい食べ物が私たちの心を弾ませ、
そして会話の中から新しいアイディアが発見される。
果たしてその会話の輪が広がったときに、どのようなものが生まれるだろうか。
「仲間とパンを分け、サバティカルな時間を共に過ごす」という
サバカンの活動コンセプトをコミュニティーへ広げた、
食と会話をテーマにした新しいプロジェクトがスタートした。
サバカンから始まった持ち寄りネタは、美味しい食べ物に手が伸びていくように、
次の話題へと繋がり、美味しい食べ物たちのように色とりどりに弾んでいった。

Bring food and stories "POTLUCK Party."
Our first POTLUCK Party was held in 2019 after Sugiura and Watanabe(from Sabbatical Company) returned from overseas.
Sabbatical Company(hereinafter Sabakan) prepared Sugiura's Lithuanian stories, Watanabe's American stories, as well as a canned mackerel / Saba Can (pronounced a canned mackerel in Japanese), and delicious foods.
Guests also gathered at the POTLUCK Party, bringing them various delicious foods. 
Whenever Sabakan gathers together, there is always good food nearby, and the delicious food always inspires us to discover new ideas in our conversations.
What will be born when the circle of conversation expands?
The concept of Sabakan, "sharing bread with friends and spending sabbatical time together," has been extended to the community.
A new project based on the theme of food and conversation has been launched.
The conversation that began at the Sabakan led to the next topic of conversation, and like the delicious food, the conversation was colorful and lively.
